Harvest Home

Continuing my recent Big Country kick, here's a picture based off their song "Harvest Home". It's got a really great riff and a nice rhythm, but there's definitely an undertone to the lyrics about the decline of the farm and the hand-in-hand decline of the working class. I chose to focus on the happier aspects for this pic; I was definitely going for something overtly cartoony and bright. I like most everything except the river and the riverbank, which I'm pretty sure I botched for good at the beginning and only realized it when it was too late. Oh well, practice is practice.
