Average pageviews for my page, April 8-11: 7.75
April 12-16: 30.4
April 17-20: 65.5
And I'm already at 34 in the last 5-6 hours, which should break yesterday's high of 88. I'm not complaining, mind you, but when I get a sudden spike in pageviews without faves and comments increasing accordingly (and they haven't been) I get nervous more than anything, like something of mine has been featured on some shit-art laugh-and-gawk tumblr or something and I'm the last to know. Or like there's a sudden upsurge in spambots or adbots (not that I've been getting those comments either) and despite the high numbers no one's actually looking at my art.
So, if you are all real people out there driving those numbers up, and you're not just here to laugh, maybe drop in a comment or a fav while you're here? Thanks.
Edit: Could it be the name change? Googling FieldsofFire gets me...a paintball range in Connecticut, an Australian soap opera, a Bon Jovi song, and a 1978 nonfiction book about the Vietnam War. None of those seem like they'd be spiking in web traffic and giving me the residual over the course of the last two weeks.

Devious Journal Entry
I normally do not share in the freaking out that people do whenever this site changes something. In fact, I often like what other people hate about the changes.
That said, raising the price for a premium membership from $30 to $50 with 0 (zero) new perks or features for subscribers is some garbage. I'm sure the administration needs (or think they need) the funds to keep the site viable, but from the user's perspective, it's all loss and no gain. No wonder people are angry. I intend not to re-subscribe after my premium membership runs out, and hope enough people do that that it gets management's attention.
Friday Night Random Ten
Trying to find some reason to justify keeping this journal here; I'll try doing this weekly again.
Tales From Tomorrow - The Pulsars
Grace - Apocalyptica
Backbone Year - Ferrodyne
W.M.A. - Pearl Jam
Saint of Circumstance - The Grateful Dead
Red Dress - TV on the Radio
A Poor Man's Memory - Explosions in the Sky
The Dream Police - David Byrne
Downstream - Supertramp
I'll Come Back 4 U - Unknown Mortal Orchestra
In high school I was so 70's-obsessed that Pearl Jam's Vs., which came out in 1993, counted as a modern album purchase for me. I was too young for grunge; it was something that 'cool older kids' listened to by the time I star
Synesthesia
Anyone else here have it? I know it's about as useful and meaningful as swapping stories about weird dreams you've had, but I still find it interesting. For me it's always been strongest with musical notes and numbers, less so with letters, and not at all with people's voices.
Music:
A- a bright, vivid red-orange
B- Dark, rich blue
C- Bright mustardy yellow
D- Dark chocolate-brown
E- Medium blue-green
F- Fuchsia/bright purple/pink
G- Lime green
Sharps and flats are midtones. This doesn't hold true when I'm listening to music (I see some vague colors but it depends a lot on the song), only when I'm playing it.
Numbers
0- Gray
1- D
Tech question
Is anyone else with the newest version of firefox (by the way, to hell with companies that upgrade my stuff like that without asking) finding that dA-and so far for me, only dA-is much slower?

I usually check in frequently, for old times sake, but do not usually comment. But, no matter how man times I stop in during one day, it only counts as one page view.
